About the The Conference

Overview
 

The 2nd Annual Home Computer Security Conference is a conference designed to educate and assist casual to advanced home computer users and their families detect and avoid some of the most prominent internet related crimes and malware attacks today. The conference is made up of four 45 – 60 minute sessions covering:

SESSION 1: Securing your home computer and network
SESSION 2: Banking Securely Online
SESSION 3: Identity Theft
SESSION 4: Social Networking Safely


In response to feedback from last year's conference, we have broken this year's conference into several sessions. You can either choose to attend a single session of your choice or attend all day!  Pricing has also been modified to reflect this change in attendance options. Included in this pricing are price breaks for military, students and our senior citizens.

Day care will also be provided this year

All proceeds from this year's conference will go to the Mary Maude Williams Scholarship Fund. This scholarship fund helps disadvantaged youth offset the costs associated with attending institutions of higher education.
